PARTENARIAT MÉDITERRANÉEN

Présentation

Le partenariat méditerranéen des régulateurs de valeurs mobilières a été institué en 2009 avec la signature de la charte du partenariat méditerranéen. Il vise à faciliter les échanges entre les autorités membres de ce partenariat en soutenant, sur les deux rives de la méditerrané, un renforcement des flux financiers entre les pays à travers la convergence des outils financiers existants (en matière de gestion collective, par exemple) ainsi que la promotion d’une culture commune de supervision et de contrôle.

Les présidents des autorités membres du partenariat méditerranéen se réunissent chaque année afin de faire le bilan des travaux en cours et de définir les prochaines actions.

Objectifs

Les objectifs opérationnels fixés par la charte du partenariat méditerranéen sont :

  • l’harmonisation des méthodes et procédures de régulation,
  • l’élaboration de normes communes proches des référentiels européens (de manière à favoriser la coopération entre autorités et, à terme, la signature d’accords de reconnaissance mutuelle).
